For those who don't know, a Planer Thicknesser is a powerful woodworking machine and a combination of a planer and a thicknesser. The job of a planer is to plane one face of a board so that it is flat and do the same to one edge of the board. The task of a thicknesser machine is then to plane the other 2 edges to the required thickness. A planer thicknesser woodworking machine achieves this with 2 rollers to roll the woodern board in to the machine and a set of cutting or planing knives that do the actual planing.
To use the machine, the planer thicknesser table is first set to the required height. A wooden board is then inserted in to the machine until the first roller take a hold of it and it is then fed in. The planer knives remove the required amount of wood from one face and it is then pushed out of the planer thicknesser machine on the second roller.
We have a wide range of Planer Thicknesser from various manufacturers such as Charnwood, Clarke, DeWalt, Draper, Erbauer, Kity, Makita, Metabo, Proxxon, Record, Scheppach, Sealey, SIP, Startrite, Trend, Woodstar and many others.
